Business Insider and Insider were recognized in the following categories:
Best Video Series: Business Insider’s So Expensive series explores the priciest items in the world and what makes them worth the cost, e.g. Why Caviar is So Expensive.
Best Editorial Series: Insider investigated how the Saudi state used an app to track its female citizens. Our reporting put pressure on Apple and Google, which both offered the app on their platforms, and led the Saudi government to ultimately change its law banning women from traveling without a man’s permission.
Best Single Article: Business Insider’s reporters talked to 20 former and current WeWork employees to cover the rise and fall of the coworking giant: Sex, tequila, and a tiger: Employees inside Adam Neumann's WeWork talk about the nonstop party to attain a $100 billion dream and the messy reality that tanked it.
Best Single Article: Insider produced an illustrated visual feature of the 448-page Mueller report — a compelling narrative that made the tedious document more engaging: We hired the author of 'Black Hawk Down' and an illustrator from 'Archer' to adapt the Mueller report so you'll actually read it.
