Insider’s newsroom receives SIX honors at this year’s Drum Awards

The Drum, a widely-read marketing news site in Europe, held their annual awards show on Friday evening, honoring journalism that is "original, clever, and thought-provoking."

Our newsroom won four awards and was shortlisted for two more. 

  • Rachel Premack won Journalist of the Year for her investigation into the toxic culture at Bon Appétit.

  • Zach Tracer, who led Insider’s coverage on the pharmaceutical response to COVID-19, won Editor of the Year.

  • Insider's distribution team won Social Media Team of the Year.

  • Brought to you by…,” our podcast that told the surprising stories behind the biggest, household name brands, won Podcast of the Year.

  • Ben Goggin, who spearheads our digital culture coverage, was shortlisted for Editor of the Year.

  • And finally, our series from the Personal Finance Insider team, "Inside the Racial Wealth Gap," was shortlisted for Editorial Campaign of the Year.
